The ceramic top has a soft, mineral-tone finish that shifts nicely in different light, and the extension slides out surprisingly smoothly. Took a bit of muscle to get the base aligned perfectly, but once it’s set, it feels solid and elegant.

The extension mechanism slides out so smoothly I can do it one-handed, and the walnut base gives it a warm, modern feel. We've already hosted six for dinner without the glass top feeling fragile at all.
