I was a bit worried the ivory shade would look cheap, but it's actually a nice, thick linen that diffuses the light beautifully. The brushed brass details add just the right amount of warmth against the matte black marble.

The marble base is heavier and more polished than I expected, which gives it a really premium feel on my nightstand. The dimmer lets me adjust from bright reading light to a soft glow for winding down.
