The leather is so soft and buttery right out of the box, and the chair is surprisingly spacious for relaxing. I've been spending my evenings reading in it, and that satin base really does make it feel more like a sculpture than just a seat.

That beige top-grain leather is incredibly soft—way nicer than the standard bonded leather I was used to. The satin-finish base adds a really elegant touch too. I've been sinking into this chair every evening since it arrived.

The satin-finish base gives it a much more polished look in person than the photos suggested, and the leather has that soft, broken-in feel right away. Only wish the seat were a touch deeper for curling up, but it's still a solid pick for a reading nook.
