The marble base is heavier than I expected, which makes it feel really sturdy and well-made. It casts a warm, elegant glow in my living room without being too harsh.

I wish the marble base were a tiny bit heavier for extra stability, but the metal and brass combo looks really nice in my reading nook and the antique finish hides dust well.

The antique brass finish catches light nicely without being too flashy. Assembly was straightforward and the metal base provides good stability on carpet. Only wish the lamp had a dimmer switch built in.
