The black metal feels substantial without being heavy, and the shade has a nice clean shape that works well on my nightstand. Perfect for creating a cozy reading nook without taking up too much space.

The matte black finish is exactly what I wanted for my desk — much sleeker than the brushed metal look I always see. It casts a nice, warm glow without being harsh, and the base feels sturdy enough that I don't worry about knocking it over.
