I was a little worried the architectural look would be too stark for my living room, but it actually anchors the corner perfectly. The all-steel base is heavy enough that my cat can't knock it over, which is a win in my book.

The all-steel base feels incredibly solid and well-made, no wobble at all once assembled. It casts a nice, wide wash of light overhead that really opens up the room without being harsh.

The overhead light pattern is perfect for reading, and the architectural design adds a modern touch to my living room. Assembly was straightforward, and the steel base gives it a premium, sturdy feel without being overly heavy.
